Third Week of Bible Study and Faith Sharing for Advent

This week we will be looking at the Scriptures for the Third Sunday of Advent which the Church calls Gaudete Sunday, a Sunday of Joy. The pink candle is lighted on our Advent Wreaths.

It is a fascinating set of scriptures because some of them are certainly joyful, though the Gospel seems to be very redundant when compared with last week’s. Why is that? Join us and you will find out.

We had fifteen participants at our second session with wisdom and humor being shared by all.

This Bible Study and Faith Sharing will focus on the readings for the upcoming Sunday. There will be time for small group sharing, large group learning, asking questions, praying, and pondering questions big and small. It will provide an excellent chance to prepare ourselves for the coming of our Lord, Jesus Christ!
